The Kosmos/GéGé boxes
a German Kosmos version
a French GéGé version
The educational boxes presented below are of German origin. Marked GéGé (Le jeune radio - The young radio) in France
and Kosmos (Radiomann) in Germany. The attached booklet is very educational. It is based on the analogy
hydraulic with electricity..
Excerpt from the booklet a circuit
The boxes of this generation contained a diode and a germanium transistor
and an EF98 electronic tube (optional). One could even, thanks to iron filings,
reproduce a coherer (Branly's)! The EF98 tube was designed for car radios and therefore
can be powered at low voltage.
